Personable: Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13 October 2026

Personable is made by Rocky Solutions, a SASU registered in Paris (RCS Paris 109 288 266, 38 rue des Mathurins, 75008 Paris), a European company. Questions: contact@rockysolutions.co.

In short

Personable makes small personal apps for you from what you describe. Everything you log in those apps stays on your phone. If you sign in, a copy follows your account so your other phones show the same apps. What you write to make or change an app is sent, without your name, to the AI that makes it (Claude, by Anthropic); it is not used to train the AI, and nobody at Personable reads it. There are no ads, no tracking and no sale of your data.

What stays on your phone

Your apps and everything you log in them are kept in a database on your phone. Photos you attach to an entry stay on your phone. The first name you give at the welcome stays on your phone. Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your phone. None of this leaves the phone unless you sign in (see "Your account") or ask Personable to read something for you (see "What reaches the AI").

What reaches the AI

Personable makes and changes your apps with Claude, a model made by Anthropic. Before your first message, Personable tells you this and asks for your agreement; it asks again whenever what leaves the phone changes.

What is sent, and only when you ask for it:

What is never sent: your name, your email, your account id, your other apps' entries, your phone's location, your contacts.

Anthropic processes these words for Personable under its commercial terms: it does not use them to train its models, and deletes them within 30 days, except where its safety systems flag a conversation, which it may keep for up to two years. Personable's own server keeps, for each request, which kind of request it was, which model answered and what it cost, never the words.

Personable reads what you write for signs of a crisis before anything is sent, on your phone and again on its server; when it finds one, nothing is sent and the app shows where to find help instead.

The weather

If an app of yours shows a forecast, the town you typed is sent to Personable's server and from there to Apple (Maps and WeatherKit) to find the place and its forecast, with no name and no id. Personable keeps the place by a hash of its words for 30 days. Personable never reads your phone's location.

Your account

You can use Personable without an account. When you first make an app, Personable creates an anonymous account for your phone so that it can make apps for you; it holds no name and no email. If you sign in with Apple or Google, that anonymous account becomes yours: Personable keeps your email address (Apple may give a relay address), the name Google shares when you sign in with Google (Apple is asked for your email only, never your name) and your account id.

Once signed in, a copy of your apps, their settings, the entries you logged and the events your apps keep (when you opened one, when you logged, how you answered a suggestion) is stored under your account on Personable's server, run by Supabase in the European Union, so that your other phones show the same apps. The words you first made an app from never leave the phone, even to your own account.

This phone shows your account's apps and nobody else's. When you sign out, your apps leave this phone and wait in your account; they come back when you sign in again. If you sign in to an account that already has apps while this phone holds some made before, Personable asks whether they join your account or stay out.

Personable also keeps, for each install, a key that proves the request came from a genuine copy of Personable on an Apple device (App Attest), and a ledger of your requests to the AI (kind, model, cost; never the words) to keep the service fair for everyone.

Health and mood entries

Some apps you make may hold entries about your mood, your meals, your weight or your workouts. They are personal logs you write yourself: Personable gives no diagnosis and no medical advice. These entries stay on your phone, follow your account if you sign in, and reach the AI only when you made an app whose text reads them, as described above. This version of Personable does not read Apple Health.

What you can do

In Settings, under Privacy:

You can also delete one app, with everything logged in it, from the app's own menu.

These are the ways to see, take out and erase your data. For anything else the law gives you a right to (a correction, a question about what is kept, a complaint), write to contact@rockysolutions.co; you may also complain to your country's data protection authority.

What Personable does not do

No advertising. No tracking across apps or websites. No analytics service. No sale or sharing of your data with anyone other than the processors named here (Anthropic for the AI, Apple for the weather and for Sign in with Apple, Google for Sign in with Google, Supabase for the server). No crash reporting in this version.

Children

Personable is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child gave us data, write to us and we will delete it.

Changes

When this policy changes, the date above changes, and if what leaves your phone changes, Personable asks for your agreement again before sending anything.
